Public Notice

In view of the construction of new road from Km 000+000 to 3+200 being undertaken by the NHIDCL/Civil Contractor M/S VKJ-NSPR(JV) above the existing Road from Sirwani Bridge to Adharshgoan in South District, notice is hereby issued to the General Public that the road from Sirwani Bridge to Adharshgoan (LANCO Road) in South District shall be closed for traffic as well as people w.e.f. 03-02-2020 to 31-03-2020.

In view of the widening works being undertaken by the NHIDCL/Civil Contractor M/s VKJ-NSPT along the Singtam-Tarku road of NH-510, notice to the general public is being issued regarding the closure of road from km-0.000 to km-16.000 as per the schedule below:

1. 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (vehicle movement to be closed every alternate hour beginning from 9:00 am)
2. 10:00 pm to 6 am (vehicle movement to be closed)

(Only emergency and VIP vehicle will be allowed during the closure)

The closure will be effective till 31st January 2020.

In view of the carpeting works being undertaken by the Roads & Bridges Department along the Bermiok to Phongla road, notice to the general public is being issued regarding the closure of the road from km-13 to km-16 as per the schedule w.e.f. 12/12/2019 to 24/12/2019. The timing of the carpeting work is as under :

1. 7:30 am to 9:00 am (vehicle movement to be closed)
2. 9:30 am to 12 noon (vehicle movement to be closed)
3. 1:00 am to 3:00 am (vehicle movement to be closed)
4. 3:30 am to 5:00 am (vehicle movement to be closed)

Further it is advised that the PMGSY road connecting Tingley to Burul which connects Mamring bridge can be used by commutters travelling to Gangtok, East Sikkim
