Traditional fashion show by different communities of Sikkim was another part of the day’s programme, along with cultural shows. Besides, there were a wide range of attractions for visitors who were seen going round the Mahotsav venue, Bhaichung Stadium.
There are different stalls selling products of different communities. One can buy traditional dresses as well as other artifacts.
There is a health camp where all the day doctors are available. In the traditional food stalls people were seen enjoying the local brand of liquor with the traditional foods. Some enjoyed the beautiful sight of Namchi from the sky by riding helicopter. A flower show is particularly projecting the Cymbidium Orchid and there is a painting exhibition also.On the day people also had a pleasant surprise. They got a glimpse of shooting of ‘Mangarjong’, a film with the story mostly based on the ethnic culture, traditions and heritage of the Mangar community which took place at the Mangers Traditional Food Stall in the venue.
The day’s evening programme is a musical show by artists from Kathmandu, Nepal.
